About Brandon Rose
Brandon Rose is a resident of Jackson Township in Ocean County running for the office of New Jersey State Senator representing Legislative District 12. He is seeking to succeed long-time State Senator Sam Thompson who will be retiring at the end of his current term.
Brandon grew up in NJ, primarily in Monmouth and Ocean counties. After graduating from Brick Township High School he attended Trenton State College (now The College of New Jersey) where he graduated with a degree in Law & Justice.
After working several years as a Director for The Wood Company in the contract dining services industry, Brandon started a career in law enforcement with the New Jersey Division of Parole, then part of the NJ Department of Corrections and now part of the NJ State Parole Board. During his career with the Division he worked in several locations including Jersey City, Trenton and Red Bank. He retired at the rank of Captain, one of only four in the State at the time, in January of 2023 after 26 years of service.

Serving on the Division's Employee Veterans and Military Affairs Committee
Serving as the Chairman of the Evidenced Based Practices Committee
Receiving a Patriot Award from the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Department
Helping to create numerous re-entry programs for returning citizens
While implementing the re-entry programs, Brandon regularly coordinated efforts with faith-based and charitable organizations, governmental agencies, non-profit organizations and the business community.
Since entering the workforce Brandon has been a strong supporter and advocate for Unions, as well as being an active Union member and representative of the following Unions.

His work with the NJSOA and NJLECOA include the negotiation of multiple collective bargaining agreements between those Unions he has represented and the State of New Jersey, represented by the NJ Governor's Office of Employee Relations.
During his career in law enforcement Brandon regularly sought to advance his professional growth. He considers his greatest achievements in this area to be graduating from the West Point Command and Leadership Program, sponsored by the NJ Chiefs of Police Association, and being designated as a Certified Public Manager from the State of NJ / Fairleigh Dickinson University CPM Program.
Brandon has lived in Jackson Township for the past 12 years. His wife Bonnie, born and raised in Burlington County, is a freelance Graphic Designer. They have two children who attend the Jackson School District.
